Pressure Pumping
Until now, operators were limited by the ability of turbines to react quickly to changing conditions in pressure pumping applications. The use of our patented multi-speed gearbox with advanced software systems provides an unprecedented level of control, protecting the heart of the system and avoiding costly incidents.

THE SPG DIFFERENCE

Performance Under Control
The TPMA is designed for maximum containment and preservation of the pressure pumping system's power core, ensuring the turbine receives clean air, clean fuel, and proper lubrication in any condition. Our control system keeps operation safe and efficient, while remote monitoring ensures we're always a step ahead of the game, and our neutral gear allows the turbine to idle in unexpected conditions without shutting down at operating temperatures.
Choose your pump. Choose your packager.
TURBINE POWER MODULE ASSEMBLY (TPMA)
We provide Turbine Power Module Assemblies (TPMA) to packagers, or directly to end users who prefer to handle their own packaging. Pump models, controls, black start capabilities and trailer designs can all be selected based upon the end user's compatibility preferences, and our two-speed gearbox gives the flexibility to change pump manufacturers or models even once the trailer is constructed.
The Winning Combination
The secret sauce has three ingredients: turbine, gearbox, and controls. While the SPG4 turbine boasts incredible reliability, the gearbox works in tandem to further protect it by switching to neutral gear when pumping operations stop. This allows the turbine to either idle and wait for pumping to resume, or perform a controlled shutdown according to specifications and avoid damage to the core components.
Our patented two-speed design enables us to achieve the optimal mechanical advantage for any treating pressure, from typical 8,000psi to high-pressure 13,000psi+ applications, by switching into low gear for startups and high gear to break over into high-pressure operation. No more changing plungers in the field.
Furthermore, our our two-speed design means end users are no longer tied to a single pump manufacturer or model, simply switch gears and change pumps.

Custom Controls, Made by the Experts.
We're able to deliver our equipment what it needs, when it needs it, through in-house design and manufacturing of our control systems. Our systems are designed to protect our hardware under heavy and unpredictable loads, even in extreme environmental conditions. We know that "the show must go on" for our clients, regardless of the operating conditions, so we've brought our control systems in house to make sure our equipment is up to the challenge.
Total-System Performance.
Our controls allow for additional data from external sources & sensors for added flexibility in any project. We factor in data from the site into our TPMA controls to evaluate total system performance and optimize the turbine drivetrain to achieve the best possible results geared toward the overall goal of the project.
For example, by analyzing pumping pressure over time, we are able to anticipate upcoming changes to site conditions and provide the power the pump needs and be ready to break over or switch into neutral without missing a beat.
Time is money.
In the field, minutes count and no two jobs are the same. We build with that in mind, making sure you're up and running today, tomorrow, and next year, as the industry changes and the landscape evolves.
