MARINE
Our marine implementation of the SPG4 gives our clients new options for latest-generation turbine performance, whether breathing new life into aging vessels with discontinued equipment or integrated in newly-built vessels.

THE SPG DIFFERENCE

Out with the Old,
In with the Next Generation.
Hundreds of Allied Signal and Lycoming turbines, now discontinued by legacy OEMs, are nearing the end of their service life in marine vessels around the world. We have developed the systems necessary to utilize our SPG4 turbine in these applications, providing our clients with best-in-class performance from modern technology that is actively serviced by Signal Power Group.

Next-Gen Technology
The SPG4 is the most technologically-advanced turbine in its class, delivering 4625 horsepower for mechanical drive applications, or producing 3450 kW(e) in power generation. Signal Power Group is proud to be the OEM of the SPG4, based upon the Honeywell T55, with over twelve million operating hours across six decades of service and continuous upgrades. Even today, the SPG4 platform is continuously developed upon, resulting in higher output and greater durability year after year.
